Joomla - remove 'Welcome to the Frontpage' from your home page

Joomla is showing the Page Title by default, to remove it you can use the admin facilities as shown opposite.

You can use the same procedure to remove the page title from any of your pages too.

 

 

 

How to remove 'Welcome to the Frontpage'

Here is a screenshot of the message we are going to remove

Login as admin and select the main menu

select the menu item

 

Select the home menu

Click the green triangle to open syetem parameters

change system parameters to remove welcome to the frontpage from joomla

Once you see the system parameters you can change the Page Title or just click the No radio button to stop it being shown.

Save the changes and view the effect in a browser.
